Terms and Conditions
1. Payment Terms
All payments must be made in full 90 days prior to the departure date. Failure to comply with this deadline may result in cancellation of the booking without refund.
2. Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made 90 days or more before the departure date will be eligible for a refund minus a processing fee of [insert amount].
Cancellations made less than 90 days prior to the departure date are non-refundable.
3. Travel Insurance
We highly recommend that all participants purchase comprehensive travel insurance, which should cover any medical emergencies, cancellations, delays, or losses during the pilgrimage.
4. Liability and Responsibility
The International Catholic Pilgrimage Company is not responsible for any injury, illness, accident, or other physical harm that may occur during the pilgrimage. All participants travel at their own risk.
We are not liable for any accidents, slips, falls, or any injuries arising from participants' own negligence or failure to follow safety guidelines.
5. Transportation Issues
We are not responsible for any delays, malfunctions, breakdowns, or cancellations related to airlines, buses, or other modes of transportation during the pilgrimage. Any transportation issues are the responsibility of the airline, bus company, or relevant transportation provider.
6. Hotel Negligence
We are not responsible for any incidents or negligence on the part of the hotels or other accommodations. This includes, but is not limited to, malfunctions of elevators, escalators, or any other electronic systems (e.g., electronic walkways) in hotels or airports. While we will do our best to ensure a safe and comfortable stay, any issues that arise will be addressed directly with the hotel management.
7. Health and Safety
All participants are responsible for ensuring their own health and fitness for the pilgrimage. If you have any pre-existing medical conditions or require special assistance, please notify us in advance.
The company is not responsible for medical expenses incurred during the trip.
If a storm, natural disaster, or act of God arises, we will do our best to ensure your safety, but we cannot be held responsible for any consequences resulting from such events. Participants are encouraged to purchase travel insurance for such occurrences.
8. Emergencies and Government Restrictions
In the event of any emergency shutdowns due to illness, viruses, or pandemics, the company is not responsible for your accommodations or any related costs. It is the participant's responsibility to arrange and cover any extra costs related to such events. This is why we highly recommend purchasing travel insurance.
In the case of government restrictions or travel bans in the areas we will be visiting, we will do everything in our power to ensure your protection and safety, but we cannot be held responsible for any disruptions or costs that arise as a result.
9. Changes and Delays
The itinerary is subject to change without notice due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to weather conditions, political events, or acts of God.
We are not responsible for any delays or changes in schedule that may affect your pilgrimage, including transportation delays.
10. Passports and Visas
Participants are responsible for obtaining all necessary travel documents, including passports and visas, before departure.
The company is not liable for any losses or cancellations due to a participant’s failure to secure the appropriate documents.
11. Conduct and Behavior
All participants are expected to conduct themselves respectfully in accordance with the religious and cultural practices at each pilgrimage site.
Any participant found to be disruptive may be asked to leave the pilgrimage without a refund.
12. Photography and Media
The company reserves the right to take photographs or videos during the pilgrimage for promotional purposes. By participating, you consent to your image being used by the company for marketing materials.
