In this message from Medjugorje, Our Lady reminds us that we are living in a time of grace and calls us to personal conversion. She invites us to awaken our hearts, draw closer to God through prayer, and allow Him to lead our lives toward the light of the Resurrection.
February 25, 2026 – Message from Our Lady of Medjugorje
Dear children, in this time of grace, anew, I am calling you to offer your lives to God that He may lead you towards the resurrection through your personal conversion. Little children, God is near to you and heeds your prayers, but you are lulled to sleep, and that is why He sent me to you to awaken you, and that you may shine holiness like a spring flower. Thank you for having responded to my call.

Reflection by Fr. James Williams
“This time of grace” is a phrase that is used often in Our Lady’s messages. She clearly means that we won’t always be living in these special days. They will come to an end. With that in mind, Lent is also referred to as a “time of grace”.
In fact, it was in the hymn for Morning Prayer as I was praying this morning:
The words of the hymn offered a powerful connection to the themes of grace and conversion. As I reflected during Morning Prayer, the hymn’s message resonated deeply, reinforcing the call to repentance and renewal in this special time. The lyrics, which speak of Christ as the “Sun of Justice” restoring the day and dispelling darkness, echo the invitation to allow virtue and light to return to our lives. This prayerful moment serves as a reminder of God’s compassion and the need for heartfelt repentance, aligning with the messages received from Medjugorje about preparing for spiritual resurrection and embracing God’s guidance.
Hymn
O Sun of Justice, Christ our Lord,
as you restore the day to earth,
now rend the darkness of our minds,
that light from virtue may return.
In this most favored time of grace,
Lord, grant repentance from the heart,
that your compassion may convert
all those your love has long endured.
Many people may not read this until the holy season of Lent is over, however I’d like to compare the days we are living in as a type of Lent. The messages of Our Lady often point out that we are in a period where our choices about good and evil are crucial. There are a lot of “ifs” that we hear. For instance, “if people don’t convert then serious consequences are imminent in the future.” (If) people want peace then they must pray, fast, go to Holy Mass, read scripture, and convert. These are all messages that we hear during the Lenten season.
Our commitment to God naturally leads us to acts of charity toward others. When we devote ourselves to God and respond to His call for repentance and renewal, this loyalty is not limited to personal transformation alone. It is expressed outwardly through concrete works of love and service. These charitable actions are a direct outgrowth of our spiritual journey and reflect the grace we receive. In this way, our faith and devotion become visible through the compassion and assistance we extend to those around us, fulfilling the deeper call to live out the virtues inspired by our relationship with God.
During Lent we prepare not just for Easter, but we also prepare for Holy Week as well. From what the visionaries in Medjugorje tell us, it seems like the Ten Secrets are going to be like a Holy Week as well. Of course, the events will probably last more than a week, but we are often warned that we must be ready when these events begin.
If what is coming is like a Holy Week then maybe we could connect that with the eternal Easter that is to come as well. On the other side of Holy Week is Easter Glory. And the Visionary Mirijana has told us that when the ten secrets are over Jesus Christ will live in every living human heart. In all humility, I don’t know what that means or what it’s going to take for us to get there, but all the Visionaries tell us in their own ways that if we are living the Medjugorje messages then we are safe. There is nothing to fear! Whatever is coming will be the Triumph of Our Lady’s Immaculate Heart.
The Hymn, JOYFUL JOYFUL WE ADORE THEE always reminds me of our Lady’s messages. Many times in her messages at this time of year she speaks of our hearts opening to God, like flowers to the sun. HEARTS UNFOLD LIKE FLOWERS BEFORE THEE OPENING TO THE SUN ABOVE. This is our wake-up call. Time to act! If you watch the NEWS, then you must know how much our world needs our prayers and fasting. There are wars and rumors of wars, so let’s be like the virgins with oil to our lighted lamps (Matt. 25), like the person who builds their house on solid rock so that when the chastisement comes our houses will stand (Matt. 7).

May this reflection encourage us to remain spiritually awake, to respond to Our Lady’s call with sincere conversion, and to live each day with faith, prayer, and trust in God during this time of grace.
