DAY 1 – May 22, 2026 | Departure from the USA
Our pilgrimage begins as we depart from Washington D.C. (IAD), setting out on this special spiritual journey – The Path of Divine Will. During the overnight flight to Rome, we take time to rest and spiritually prepare for the days ahead. Overnight flight to Rome.
DAY 2 – May 23, 2026 | Arrival – San Giovanni Rotondo
Upon arrival in Rome, we gather as a group and begin our journey south toward San Giovanni Rotondo, the spiritual home of St. Padre Pio. In the evening, we celebrate Holy Mass at the shrine, entrusting our pilgrimage to the Lord and seeking the intercession of St. Padre Pio. Dinner at the hotel and time to rest after our journey. Overnight in San Giovanni Rotondo.
DAY 3 – May 24, 2026 | Monte Sant’Angelo – St. Michael the Archangel
After breakfast, we travel to Monte Sant’Angelo, one of the most sacred pilgrimage sites in Europe. We descend into the grotto of St. Michael the Archangel, a place of deep spiritual significance, where we celebrate Holy Mass. Time is given for personal prayer, reflection, and silence before returning to San Giovanni Rotondo. Dinner at the hotel. Overnight in San Giovanni Rotondo.
DAY 4 – May 25, 2026 | San Giovanni Rotondo – St. Padre Pio
This day is dedicated to prayer and deeper reflection in the presence of St. Padre Pio. We celebrate Holy Mass at the shrine and spend time visiting the places where he lived, prayed, and served. Time is given for personal prayer, quiet reflection, and the opportunity for confession. Dinner at the hotel. Overnight in San Giovanni Rotondo.
DAY 5 – May 26, 2026 | Lanciano – Loreto – Assisi
After breakfast, we depart San Giovanni Rotondo and journey toward Lanciano, where we visit one of the oldest Eucharistic Miracles in the Church. Here, we celebrate Holy Mass and spend time in prayer. We then continue to Loreto and visit the Holy House of Nazareth, one of the most beloved Marian shrines in the world. In the afternoon, we continue to Assisi, the peaceful town of St. Francis. Dinner at the hotel. Overnight in Assisi.
DAY 6 – May 27, 2026 | Assisi – San Damiano
After breakfast, we travel to San Damiano, the place where St. Francis heard Christ’s call: “Go and rebuild my Church.” In this peaceful and quiet setting, we celebrate Holy Mass and spend time in personal prayer and reflection. During the day, we visit the monastery associated with the life of St. Clare and have time for personal prayer. The day concludes with evening prayer and reflection in the silence of this holy town. Dinner at the hotel. Overnight in Assisi.

DAY 7 – May 28, 2026 | Assisi – St. Clare
After breakfast, we visit the Basilica of St. Clare, where the original San Damiano Cross and the body of the saint are preserved. Here we celebrate Holy Mass and continue our spiritual journey through Assisi. During the day, we visit the Cathedral of San Rufino and Chiesa Nuova, associated with the early life of St. Francis. In the afternoon, there is free time for personal prayer or rest, and the day concludes with evening prayer. Dinner at the hotel. Overnight in Assisi.
DAY 8 – May 29, 2026 | Assisi – St. Carlo Acutis & St. Francis
After breakfast, we visit the Shrine of the Spoliation, where St. Carlo Acutis is laid to rest. We celebrate Holy Mass at his tomb and reflect on his life and witness of faith. Later, we visit the Basilica of St. Francis (Upper and Lower Church), where we pray at his tomb. The day concludes with evening prayer and reflection on the graces received during our time in Assisi. Dinner at the hotel. Overnight in Assisi.
DAY 9 – May 30, 2026 | Journey to Corato
After breakfast, we depart Assisi and travel south toward Corato, the town closely connected to the Servant of God Luisa Piccarreta. Upon arrival, hotel check-in and time to enter into the spiritual atmosphere of this special place. During the day, we will celebrate Holy Mass in one of the local churches, depending on the schedule. Dinner at the hotel. Overnight in Corato.
DAY 10 – May 31, 2026 | Corato – Luisa Piccarreta
After breakfast, we begin our time in Corato with a visit to the tomb of the Servant of God Luisa Piccarreta in the Church of St. Mary Greca. We continue by visiting her original home, now preserved as a museum, as well as her birthplace (Via Murge) and the Orfanotrofio Antoniano Femminile – the Convent of the Daughters of the Divine Zeal, places closely connected to her life and mission. We also visit the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore, deepening our understanding of her spirituality. During the day, we celebrate Holy Mass and have time for personal prayer and reflection. Dinner at the hotel. Overnight in Corato.
DAY 11 – June 1, 2026 | Oria – Feast of St. Hannibal
After breakfast, we travel to Oria to take part in the Feast of St. Hannibal Maria Di Francia. We gather for a pilgrimage lunch at the Rogationist House, followed by a visit to the museum dedicated to St. Hannibal. In the evening, we participate in the solemn Holy Mass celebrated by the Bishop of Brindisi, joining the local Church in this special celebration. After this grace-filled day, we return to Corato. Overnight in Corato.
DAY 12 – June 2, 2026 | Corato – Rome
After breakfast, we begin our day with prayer and Holy Mass in Corato. We then depart for Rome, journeying toward the Eternal City. Upon arrival, hotel check-in and time for rest and quiet reflection after the journey. Dinner at the hotel. Overnight in Rome.
DAY 13 – June 3, 2026 | Rome – Papal Audience & Basilicas
After breakfast, we begin our day at the heart of the Catholic Church. We attend the Papal Audience with the Holy Father and receive his blessing. During the day, visits are planned to the major basilicas of Rome, including St. Peter’s Basilica, St. Mary Major, and St. Paul Outside the Walls, as well as the Shrine of Our Lady of Revelation (Tre Fontane) and Our Lady of the Angels, depending on time and availability. The day concludes with prayer and reflection. Dinner at the hotel. Overnight in Rome.
DAY 14 – June 4, 2026 | Return Home
After breakfast, we transfer to the Rome airport for our return flight home. We carry with us the memories and spiritual experiences of these grace-filled days, grateful for all that we have received during this pilgrimage.

Fr. Jerry A. Wooton
Fr. Jerry A. Wooton is a Catholic priest of the Diocese of Arlington, currently serving at Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Aldie, Virginia.
He was born on May 15, 1969, in Vicenza, Italy. Fr. Wooton attended seminary at St. Charles Borromeo Seminary in Wynnewood, Pennsylvania, and was ordained to the priesthood on May 18, 1996. A particularly meaningful part of his formation was a year spent living in Nazareth, deepening his spiritual connection to the life of Christ.
Fr. Wooton has served as a chaplain on more than a dozen pilgrimages around the world, accompanying the faithful on journeys of prayer, reflection, and discovery.
He is known for his warm, approachable, and engaging presence as a spiritual father. With a deep love for fellowship, travel, and adventure, Fr. Wooton brings both joy and spiritual depth to every pilgrimage he leads.
