August 25, 2026 – Our Lady’s Message from Medjugorje
Dear children, Today I am calling you: return to God, return to prayer, so that you may become carriers of peace. Pray, little children, for peace that is in danger; and may prayer begin to flow anew from your hearts and from your families, so that, in joy, you may feel the voice of Jesus in your hearts: ‘Peace be with you.’ Be, little children, carriers of peace and prayer for all those who do not pray. I am with you and I pray for you before my Son Jesus. Thank you for having responded to my call.

The message of Our Lady for August 25, 2026, is simple, yet urgent: return to God, return to prayer, and become carriers of peace. These words resonate deeply in a world marked by anxiety, division, conflict, and spiritual restlessness. Mary does not offer a political solution or a human strategy. Instead, she points us to the source of true peace: a renewed relationship with God through prayer.
The first invitation is personal. Before we can bring peace to others, we must allow God to restore peace within our own hearts. Our Mother calls us to "return to God," suggesting that even faithful believers drift into routine, distraction, or self-reliance. Prayer is not merely reciting words; it is opening our hearts to God's presence and allowing His grace to transform us. When prayer becomes a living encounter with Christ, we begin to hear anew His reassuring words: "Peace be with you."
The Queen Of Peace also emphasizes the family. She asks that prayer flow anew from our hearts and from our families. In an age when families are often fragmented by busyness, technology, and competing priorities, the family that prays together becomes a sanctuary of peace. A few moments of shared prayer each day helps create an atmosphere where Christ is welcomed, forgiveness is practiced, and love grows stronger. The home becomes a place where the peace of Jesus is not only spoken about but experienced.
Another important aspect of this message is mission. Our Mother does not ask us merely to seek peace for ourselves. She calls us to be "carriers of peace and prayer" for those who do not pray. Christians are not meant to keep the gift of faith hidden. Through our example, our kindness, our patience, and our intercession, we become instruments through which others encounter God's love. Often the greatest witness is not argument or persuasion but a peaceful heart that reflects the presence of Christ.
The urgency of praying for peace is especially striking. Our Lady reminds us that peace is "in danger." We see this danger in international conflicts, social tensions, and even in the struggles within our own hearts. Peace cannot be sustained by human effort alone. It is a gift that must continually be sought, protected, and nourished through prayer. Politics alone rarely solves problems, but the faithful joined in prayer will move mountains and end wars. Every Rosary, every Mass, every act of trust in God participates in this spiritual work of building peace.
Finally, Mary's assurance brings consolation: "I am with you and I pray for you before my Son Jesus." We are not left alone in this mission. Like a loving mother, Mary accompanies us, interceding for us as we strive to follow Christ. Her presence reminds us that holiness is possible and that God's grace is greater than our weaknesses.
As we reflect on this message, we might ask ourselves: How do I need to return more fully to God? How can prayer become more alive in my heart and in my family? In what ways can I be a bearer of Christ's peace to those around me? If we respond generously to these questions, we will discover that peace is not merely an ideal to pursue but a living gift received from Jesus and shared with the world.

Mary, Queen of Peace, lead us back to your Son. Teach us to pray with sincere and trusting hearts. Help our homes to become families of prayer and reconciliation. Make us instruments of Christ's peace in a world that longs for hope. Accompany us with your maternal intercession so that, hearing the voice of Jesus, we may live each day in His peace and bring that peace to others. Amen.
